The Volkswagen Golf R was in production from 2009 to 2013. All 3 variants use petrol engines, from 260 to 271 hp. 0–100 km/h takes as little as 5.5 s. Every version has all-wheel drive. Against its predecessor (2005 – 2008), peak power rose from 250 to 271 hp. It was also available as a convertible.
