Frequently asked questions

Every API call that returns data counts as one request, whether it returns one car or a page of fifty. Image downloads count as one request each. Requests that fail because of our error are not counted.

Starter and Pro keep working: extra usage is billed at €0.60 per 1,000 requests at the end of the month. The Free plan pauses until the next month. You can upgrade at any time and the new limit applies immediately.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. There is no minimum term on monthly plans.

Every generation has one photo in a consistent style, showing the correct body style and era of that model. The photos illustrate the model; they are not pictures of a specific vehicle.

The catalog is checked for updates every day. API plans always serve the latest data. Dataset licences include 12 months of updates; after that you can renew updates for 35% of the original price per year, or keep using your last version forever.

Use the data and photos in your own products, websites and apps, for any number of users. You may not resell or redistribute the dataset itself, or offer it through a competing API.

All prices are in euros and exclude VAT. EU businesses with a valid VAT number are invoiced with reverse charge.
