Toyota built the Land Cruiser V8 and predecessors from 2007 to 2011. Buyers could choose between petrol and diesel engines, from 286 to 288 hp. Every version has all-wheel drive. All versions have an automatic gearbox. Compared with the previous generation (2002 – 2007), peak power rose from 238 to 288 hp, and minimum weight went up by 240 kg.
