Mitsubishi built the Lancer Evolution for only a short time, between 1996 and 1998. It came in a single version, the 2.0L 16V Turbo 5MT with 280 hp. It has all-wheel drive. Against its predecessor (1995 – 1996), peak power rose from 270 to 280 hp, and minimum weight went up by 90 kg.
