Chevrolet built the Corvette Convertible for only a short time, between 2012 and 2013. Only one version was offered: the 7.0L V8 LS7, good for 505 hp. It sprints to 100 km/h in just 3.8 s. Top speed reaches 306 km/h. Compared with the previous generation (2009 – 2013), peak power rose from 436 to 505 hp, and minimum weight went up by 62 kg. It was also available as a coupé.
