2024 – present Germany

Volkswagen introduced the Golf GTI / GTD / GTE in 2024. Besides conventional engines it was available as a hybrid; across 3 variants, power ranges from 177 to 300 hp. The fastest version needs 5.6 s to reach 100 km/h. All versions have an automatic gearbox. Compared with the previous generation (2020 – 2024), peak power rose from 242 to 300 hp.
